Why Indian Students Choosing IT, Pharma, Fashion Courses in Europe

Indian students are increasingly choosing European universities for courses in IT, Pharmaceuticals, and emerging fields like Fashion and Branding. While IT and Pharma remain popular due to strong career prospects, there's a growing shift toward niche disciplines like Fashion and Luxury studies, particularly in countries like France and Italy, known for their global influence in these sectors.

MBA programmes in Fashion and Branding, offered by European institutions, provide students with valuable exposure to luxury brands and career opportunities in these competitive industries.

Indian students are also pursuing advanced courses in industrial engineering and Industry 4.0-related fields, as Europe continues to lead in technological innovation.

A 2022 ICEF Monitor study found that countries like the UK, Germany, and France attracted large numbers of students from India and China, with over 210,000 students enrolled. Policies, such as French President Emmanuel Macron’s initiative to host 30,000 students by 2030, further support this growing trend, making Europe a top choice for Indian students seeking quality education and global exposure.
