DU Forms Committee to Investigate July-August Campus Violence

Dhaka University (DU) has established a probe committee to investigate the violent and unexpected incidents that occurred on its campus between July 15 and August 5. The committee has been instructed to submit its findings within 30 days.

Professor Ikramul Haque, acting dean of the Law faculty, will serve as the convener of the committee. Other members include Dr. Nadia Newaj Rimi from the Management department and Assistant Proctor Sehrin Amin Bhuiyan.

Ayub Ali, the university’s deputy registrar, has been appointed as the secretary of the committee.
