Rodri ruled out for the entire season!

For the past few seasons, Rodri has been the heartbeat of Manchester City's midfield. However, this season, it seems unlikely that we will see him on the pitch again. Sports media outlet ESPN has reported that Rodri’s season is over due to a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL).
During Manchester City’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League at the Etihad on Sunday, Rodri sustained a knee injury in the 21st minute during a challenge with Thomas Partey. At the time, the extent of the injury wasn’t clear. However, after further tests, it was confirmed that his ACL was damaged.
According to ESPN, citing a source, the Spanish midfielder is not expected to return to the field this season. Recovery from an ACL injury generally takes about seven to eight months, with match fitness also taking additional time to regain.
Manchester City has not yet officially commented on the situation. However, losing one of their key players is undoubtedly a significant blow for the Citizens.
Rodri recently won the 2024 UEFA European Championship with Spain and was named the player of the tournament. He also helped Manchester City secure the Premier League title and is considered one of the top contenders for this year’s Ballon d’Or due to his outstanding performances.
